Members of the Arewa Community Alimosho Local Government Lagos State, on Sunday, March 23, 2025, expressed appreciation and commended the Aliko Dangote Foundation (ADF) after receiving 10 kg bags of rice for its members from the foundation’s 2025 national food intervention program held at the Alimosho local council secretariat on Bada Street, Akowonjo-Egbeda, Lagos.
Speaking through the Arewa Community Chairman in the great Alimosho Local Government, Ibrahim A. Jagaba, the Arewa Community, described the gesture as an immeasurable support that came at a good time, adding that, beneficiaries will be largely relieved of biting challenges arising from the economic realignment going on across the land.
It is evident as expressed on the faces of our members who benefitted today that the grocery support means a lot to them, said he, Ibrahim A Jagaba, their Chairman on Sunday, while, appreciating the gesture;:he described Alhaji Aliko Dangote as a world renowned philanthropist, industrialist and humanitarian of high standing.
It will be recalled that, the Aliko Dangote Foundation (ADF), recently embarked on its second phase of the nationally spread food intervention program with ten states including Lagos on the list of current beneficiaries; the scheme is targeted at the needy and vulnerable members of the citizenry with a view to alleviating economic hardships in the area of feeding.
