The Agege Born cum Entrepreneur, Omodele Adebola was conferred with the ‘Calabar Heritage Award’ in Calabar, the State Capital.
The ‘Calabar Heritage Award’ which held yesterday, Monday, April 18, 2022, at Transcorp Hotels, Calabar was formerly known as ‘Efik Heritage Award’. The award is organized to recognize individuals and organizations in Cross River State who stand out painstakingly and have contributed in one way or the other to the growth and development of the State.
The award presentation was done by a team of the organisers led by Effiong Bassey Edem, who at the time of presentation thank the business mogul for his good works and humanitarian role for the people of Cross River State.
He stated that Calabar Heritage award is an event that celebrates the Efik Culture and its heritage and also award great supporters, individuals and groups who have helped in the evolution of the Efik Heritage and has contributed to the development of Cross River State.
“Omodele Adebola merited the award because he has performed more than people’s imagination and expectation in nation and State building”, he said.
Representing Omodele Adebola, in receiving the award was Mr. Tobi. In his response, Mr. Tobi, appreciate the organizers, promise that the awardee will continue to give concern to any project or program brought forward to him by the organization in order to add value to its development and sustainability.
