MANCHESTER, UK — The newly elected Chairman of the Nigerian Community Greater Manchester (NCGM), Otunba Dele Bashiru-Kaka, has announced an ambitious institutional shift positioning diaspora-led development alongside global multilateral frameworks.
Succeeding Otunba Abiola Kumoye, Bashiru-Kaka’s administration is rolling out a comprehensive reform agenda to drive continental advancement.
As part of this forward-looking vision, the new chairman promises to align with NiDcom, SDG and other development agencies to establish operational routes where professionals in Manchester can actively channel investments, technological innovations, and human capital into critical development programs.”Our administration will be anchored on a united leadership rooted in quality, inclusivity, and a shared unity of purpose,” Bashiru-Kaka declared, emphasizing that strict constitutional governance and absolute transparency will anchor these international institutional relationships.
The new NCGM development blueprint focuses on four core development areas:
