Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,
As we welcome the Islamic New Year, 1446 Hijrah, I extend my warm greetings and prayers to all Muslims in Lagos Mainland and beyond. This sacred occasion is a time for reflection, renewal, and a deepened commitment to the principles of our faith.
May this new year bring you and your families peace, prosperity, and an abundance of blessings. Let us embrace the opportunities it presents with gratitude and a steadfast heart.
In these times, it is crucial for our community to come together in harmony and coexist peacefully. The strength of our community lies in our unity and our ability to live together in mutual respect and understanding. I appeal to every resident of Lagos Mainland to foster an environment of peace and tolerance. Let us be examples of compassion and integrity, upholding the values that Islam teaches us.
Additionally, I urge you to keep our leaders at all levels in your prayers. Our leaders at the local, State to national level face significant challenges and responsibilities. They need our support and supplications to guide them in making decisions that benefit all members of our society. Pray for their wisdom, courage, and justice, as they strive to lead us toward a better future.
May Allah (SWT) bless our community with continued unity, guide our leaders, and grant us a prosperous and peaceful year ahead.
