
Members of the Arewa Community Lagos, on Sunday, September, 8, 2024, gathered at the residence of late Alhaji Sani Usman Marafa in Sabo area of Abeokuta, the capital city of Ogun State, to register their condolences and commiserate with Prince Dapo Abiodun’s Senior Special Assistant (SSA), on inter-ethnic affairs, Honorable (Prince), Hadi Sani, over the loss of his father.

The Lagos visitors, comprising delegations across traditional councils, traders, politicians, Media Practitioners and a mix of other professionals stakeholders, who all came to represent individual entities and the larger Arewa Community Lagos State, grieved and sympathized with the immediate and extended families of the bereaved.
HRH Alhaji Ahmed Haruna Kuraja, the Sarki Overall of Alimosho, led the delegation of the Chieftaincy Council of Arewa Community Alimosho Local Government, HH Alhaji Yakubu Dan Iyan Agege, led the delegation of the Chieftaincy Council of Hausa Community of the Agege Kingdom, Alhaji Sa’adu Dandare Gulma, led the Arewa APC Lagos State delegation, while, Alhaji Sule Yaro, led a delegation of traders from across Lagos markets on the condolence visit.
The Lagos contingent, prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased, who they described as a gentleman with a beautiful track record of good brotherhood, that represented the Arewa Community outstandingly in Abeokuta, Ogun State and across southwest Nigeria, until his death.
Appreciating the Lagos Arewa Community for the brotherly gesture, mile 12 international market’s Chairman, Alhaji Shehu Jibril Sampam, who is a nephew to the deceased and a senior cousin to Hon Hadi, expressed the families profound appreciation for the love and emphaty extended to them by the Lagos Arewa Community during their low moment and wished the visitors journey mercies back to Lagos.
Adding his voice, Hon, Prince Hadi, also thanked the visitors and wished them Allah’s protection as they journey back home.
