Zonal coordinator NEMA North East Wagami Lydia Madu on behalf of the Director General of NEMA Alhaji Mustapha Ahmed Habib flagged off operation safe Eid in Maiduguri the Borno state capital.
The aim of the exercise is to compliment the efforts of FRSC,NURTW and other relevant stakeholders in managing and responding to road crashes and also to sensitise Motorist and other road users during the yuletide celebration when traffic is high.
After the flag off the Zonal and her team visited the federal Road safety corps Borno state command office for a strategy meeting.
