The mega rally organised by the APC chairmanship Candidate, Otunba Kehinde Oloyede Almoroof (Kendoo) alongside his councillorship candidates, in the election of Oshodi-Isolo Local government area of Lagos, scheduled to hold tomorrow has been described as unprecedented in the political history of Oshodi.
Majority of those who spoke with journalists during the rally posited that the entrance of the property consultant cum politician to the race has really changed the narratives for the better and obviously Oshodi Isolo will be better with Kendoo .
The political journey of Kendoo is indeed novel and unprecedented in the history of Oshodi-Isolo politics. Starting from the beginning of the journey, he had been adjudged as a “Pillar of Peace” in Oshodi-Isolo politics owing to his reconciliatory moves before and during the primary, as well as the build up to the actual elections coming up tomorrow.
From history, there had not been any local government political contest that had been as peaceful, devoid of violence, rancour and accommodating as that of Kendoo.
Kendoo has just set a new record of unopposed winning and his name will be written in gold in the political history of Oshodi-Isolo politics. Starting from the primary elections and the rally across all the wards. It is also our prayers and hope that the elections scheduled for tomorrow (24th July,2021) will also be peaceful and devoid of violence.
The campaign train that kicked off from his campaign office at Oshodi Road, cuts across all the 7wards that made up the local government council area.
Residents of Oshodi are no longer arguing about the winning but the wide margin in favour of Kendoo.
