The president of community women initiative, comrade Funmi Ajayi has called on federal government to expedite action in ensuring lives and properties of Nigerians are protected.
In a statement made available to the press, Ajayi stated” the situation in the country in the last 72 hours is worrisome most especially in Lagos state. The lives lost are too many to be seen as one of those events,and properties lost to arson ,looting and vandalism remain huge loss to Lagos economy and the country at large.”
“The situation still persist in some parts of Lagos, hence, urgent measures needs be taken to arrest the situation. Anarchy is here already and it must be stopped at all cost”
She however, urged Lagos residents to be calm and unite at this trying times.
Blame games at this fragile period can escalate the already tensed situation , she enthused.
“Our common enemies are the hoodlums that hijacked the peaceful protest of the #EndSars protesters. As Such all hands must be on deck to stop them and arrest them”
She urged the federal government to as a matter of expediency treat the demands of the #EndSars protesters.
