Lagos West Senatorial District All Progressives Congress (APC) Vice Chairman, Chief Tunde Aboyade was today honoured by the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Lagos State Command for his stellar contributions towards the progress of the body in the State.
He received the award as part of Women Programme of PCRC held at Police Officers Mess, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos with the theme ” Women and Community Policing as Panacea for National Security.
PCRC is a voluntary organization established by the leadership of the Nigeria Police Force in 1984 to create an interface between the police and Community members in enhancing the security and safety of lives.
The event was attended by the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Honourable Mudashiru Obasa, State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, National President of National Council for Women Society, Dr. (Mrs) Laraba Shoda, female heads of public and private organisations, community leaders, traditional rulers and others.
While presenting the award to Aboyade, the organisers described him as an individual with strong passion for Community development and a supporter of PCRC.
The organisers added that the award was bestowed upon the State APC Vice Chairman ” in recognition of his contributions towards the progress of PCRC Lagos State Women.
Aboyade who was ably represented at the occasion by Engineer Taofik Lawal appreciated the organisers for the award and promise to continue supporting the body and Community development in the state.
