The Lagos state University Muslim community and Professor I.A.B Balogun Foundation hosted their illustrious son and former student of the school as he chaired the occasion of the 16th Annual Ramadan lecture at the prestigious Aderemi Makanjuola Lecture theatre hall, LASU, Ojo on 26th March 2023.
The event has Dr. Mustapha Ibrahim Al Adabiyy the resident Imam UNILAG Muslim community and head of UNILAG Muslim Community Arabic and Islamic school as the Guest Lecturer.

The hallmark of the events was the inspiring lecture from the lecturer on the topic.

And the later decoration of Hon Idris Balogun, an alumnus of the school with a prestigious lifetime membership of the foundation, his donation of the sum of One million Naira for the support of the Muslim community in the school.
While delivering his speech, Prince Idris Balogun enumerated the importance of the program, especially during the months of Ramadan. he praised the organizers of the event and promised to assist in any capacity within his power to sustain the initiatives.
He called for collaborative efforts with the school authority and the Muslim community within the school, to prioritize morality among the student through the teaching of Islam, he opined that a just and morally upright society will always breed great and useful leaders.
” The teaching of Allah according to the holy Quran has exemplified how we can live our lives, it now depends on our political leaders to accept the teaching and embedded it with their policies at the government level, he concluded.”
