The Special Adviser to the Governor on Housing, Mrs. Toke Benson-Awoyinka, has rubbished an online report tagging her to have disrupted just concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) primary in Ojodu local council development area (LCDA) of Lagos State last Saturday,.
Benson-Awoyinka in a chat with journalists on Wednesday narrated that what people has asked for on the election day was for the party electoral officers to use genuine voter registers.
She asserted further that her name and other residents on the queue not on the list brought to the six wards of Ojodu LCDA.
Recall that Worldtopnewsng had reported that Ojodu LCDA APC primary was marred by multiple irregularities and violence.
Benson-Awoyinka alleged that member, House of Representatives, Mr. James Abiodun Faleke, brought in hoodlums to disrupt the exercise.
“Cloned fake registers were brought to all the six wards of Ojodu on the day of the election as thugs were imported from Kogi State and Ifo area of Ogun State to disrupt the process by Faleke and .
“All we solicited for is for the electoral officers to the genuine registers, my name not on the list they brought, in fact, none of the residents from Ward A name appeared on the list.”
